Vodka Friday Company, LLC doing business as Veea Face (“Veea Face,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides this Privacy Notice to describe the personal information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the choices available regarding our use of the information.  We also describe the measures we take to protect the security of the information and how to contact us about our privacy practices.

Veea Face products are available for sale in many places.  This Privacy Notice applies to the personal information collected at clinics that we own, on our websites, and any other website or mobile application under the control of Veea Face that links to this Privacy Notice (collectively, the “Services”). Unless otherwise indicated, any personal information collected at third-party retail locations and websites is not provided to us and is not subject to this Privacy Notice.

The terms “you,” “your,” and “yours,” refer to you (as the user of the Services).

1.     WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We may collect the following information about you or your use of the Services: your first and last name, postal address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, gender, age, purchase history, and payment information including your credit card number and other billing information.  We may also collect device and internet browsing information, including information about your browsing activity, IP address, unique device identifiers, cookie identifiers, device and browser settings and information, and Internet service provider information. We may also collect information about when and how you access and use our Services, such as the date and time of your visit or use, the websites visited before and after visiting our Services, how you navigate and what you search for on the Services, the pages visited on the Services, and items you view and interact with.

We may collect personal information directly from you or your device as follows:

  • When you register for an account, it is necessary for you to provide personal information that includes your name and email address. You may choose to provide us with additional personal information, including physical addresses, phone number, and email address. You will also create a username and password, information that on subsequent visits helps us confirm your identity and makes it easier for you to make purchases on our Services.
  • When you interact with us, including when you contact us by phone, text, email, or chat.
  • When you sign up to receive emails, including marketing communications.

We collect personal information from third-party sources. 

To better understand your preferences, operate our business, and provide you with services that may be of interest to you, we may receive your personal information from the following third-parties:

  • Our family of brands and affiliated companies you have interacted with.
  • Online social networks if you follow us on social media sites, for example, Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, or Pinterest.  We may collect personal information when you communicate with us within the social media sites or use functionalities, plugins, widgets, or tools from social media websites or networks in connection with our Services (e.g., to log into an account, or to share content with your friends and followers on social media) or when you “Share” or “Like” our content. We think it is important to point out that if you make a post on a social media site, such as on Facebook or Instagram, or identify us in your social media feed by tagging us using a hashtag (#) or “at” (@), your personal information and content of our post may be publicly available and is subject to the privacy policies of those social media sites.   • Third-party service providers that support our business, including companies that help with our marketing efforts, analytics providers, advertising networks and cooperatives, third-parties that share information with us about the different devices you use online, and other third-parties that we collaborate or work with. 

We collect personal information using automated technologies. 

Personal information is also collected through automated technologies and shared with us when you visit our Services, open emails from us, or click on one of our advertisements. 

 We may automatically create website and mobile application log files, which are created when you access our Services. In addition, automated data collection technologies – such as cookies, beacons, tags, software development kits (SDK), and scripts – are used by us to analyze trends, administer the Services, and track movements around the Services. We, and our third-party service providers, also use these technologies to gather demographic information about individuals accessing the Services as individuals and in the aggregate. 

A “cookie” is a small text file that is stored on an individual’s computer and downloaded to the computer or mobile device when they visit a website. Cookies then send information back to the originating website on each subsequent visit, or to another website that recognizes that same cookie. We use the following types of cookies: 

  • Essential Cookies are required to make our Services function properly and cannot be turned off in our systems. Depending on how you access the Services, you may not be able to disable these cookies.  However, if you block these cookies, portions of our Services may not function properly. 
  • Performance and Functional Cookies allow us to count visits and sources of traffic on our Services so we can measure and improve performance and functionality. They help us know which pages of our Services are most and least popular, which features of the Services are used most, and how visitors move around the Services. 
  • Targeted Advertising Cookies may be set through our Websites by our advertising partners. They may be used by advertising companies to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant advertisements on other websites. 
  • Social Media Cookies allow you to share information using social media sharing buttons on social networks like Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, or Twitter. This information may then be used by the social media network to deliver targeted advertising to you.

We may combine information collected automatically (as described above) from your interactions with our Services and your activity on third-party sites with other data (including personal information).

3.     HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT 

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • to process your payments, after you place an order on the Services, you will need to make payment for the products you have ordered. We use third party payment processors (“Payment Processors”), to assist in processing your payment information. If you pay with a credit card, the payment information that you provide through the Services is transmitted directly to Payment Processors. We do not store your payment information and do not control and are not responsible for Payment Processors or its collection or use of your information.
  • to provide our products and services and contract with you, including provision of the Services;
  • to manage our relationship with you, including feedback management;
  • to personalize and improve our products and services and your overall customer experience, in particular by improving our existing technologies and developing new products and services; 
  • to provide you with general and personalized electronic and non-electronic direct marketing information and support our targeted advertising initiatives concerning our products and services as well as our business partners’ products and services;
  • business analytics, including consumer and operations research, to assess the effectiveness of our Services, marketing, and advertising, and to analyze market trends and (future) customer demand;
  • to ensure the security of our Services and technology, including the detection, prevention, and investigation of attacks;
  • to protect against, identify, and prevent fraud and other crime, claims and other liabilities;
  • to protect the rights, safety, health, and security of our employees and to protect our property

 We may use the information we collect about you in other ways, which we will tell you about at the time we collect it or before we begin using it for those other purposes.

 We may share or disclose information that we collect or you provide as described in this Privacy Notice:

  • to our subsidiaries and affiliates;
  • to partners, contractors, service providers, payment processors, and other third parties we use to support our business;

  • if we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect our rights, property, or safety, or others (this includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction).

We may share or disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.

5.     CHILDREN'S PRIVACY NOTICE 

Our Services are not intended for use by or targeted to children under age 13, and we do not intentionally gather any information about children who are under this age. If we discover that a child under 13 has submitted information to us, we will attempt to delete the information as soon as possible. Please contact us using the contact information below if you believe your child under age 13 has submitted personal information to us so that we can take steps to delete the information.

6.     YOUR CHOICES

Advertisements

We work with third-party service providers that support our advertising and marketing efforts, including to serve interest-based advertisements across the Internet; track and categorize your activity, interests and device(s) used over time on our Services, and on third-party websites, and mobile applications. The advertising networks and related providers gather this information to create individual profiles, which are shared with us and gives us the ability to match those individual customer profiles with advertisements we believe may be most relevant to a particular individual.

We may also share other information at our discretion, including information collected by automated technologies, which may be used by third-parties for their own marketing, advertising, and other purposes.

In addition, your device settings may offer you additional privacy settings when using our Services; please see the device settings for details. Please note that even if you opt-out of receiving interest-based advertising, you will still receive advertisements, but they will be more general in nature.

This Privacy Notice discloses the privacy practices for our Services; however, for your convenience, we may provide links to other websites. Please be aware that this Privacy Notice does not apply to the other websites. We encourage you to review the privacy statements of each website before providing any information.

8.     INFORMATION SECURITY

We are committed to taking appropriate measures designed to keep your personal information secure, including, for example, the use of Secure Sockets Layer (“SSL”) protocol encryption when you submit payment card information through our Services.  

This measure is designed to protect personal information from accidental, unlawful or unauthorized loss, access, disclosure, use, alteration, or destruction.  Despite these efforts, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

9.     INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

 We may share information about you within the Veea Face and transfer it to countries in the world where affiliates are established. Any international data transfers will be in accordance with this Privacy Notice and in compliance with applicable laws.

10.  CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY NOTICE

We are continually updating our Service features to better serve you.  Accordingly, we reserve the right to modify this Privacy Notice from time to time for any reason.  We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Notice by updating the effective date at the top of this page, and your use after such change signifies your acceptance of the changed terms.  Unless otherwise indicated, any change to this Privacy Notice will become effective immediately when the revised Privacy Notice is available.  You should consult this Privacy Notice whenever you access the Services or otherwise interact with us to stay informed about our information practices.
